A key 66 + Co inspiration, Mahabir Pun, founder of the Nepal Wireless Networking Project, has connected over 175 remote villages in the Himalayan foothills to the internet since 2002.

66 + Co is privileged to support some of the most important and influential technology organizations in the world, including the Internet Society and the Internet Engineering Task Force. Through these partnerships, 66 + Co has worked with and been inspired by many individuals who have committed their lives to bettering the world through technology.

These and countless other important initiatives within the global tech community are driven by the tireless work of extraordinary people who have a strong desire to change the world for the better. They are also driven by generous funding from the for-profit sector.  This is why 66 + Co believes it’s important to support both.

66 + Co donates a portion of its time to support the communications needs of non-profit organizations that (i) promote greater access to technology and/or (ii) use that technology to bring information to a larger audience to effect change. It also donates time to technology startups with a strong sense of corporate stewardship and global or local community service. Clients who can benefit the most from strategic counsel and/or media relations support are given greatest priority.
